Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Ter
By booking, accepting a quote, or engaging Don Sterling Services (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“the Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms form a binding agreement between both parties once a booking is confirmed or work commences.
2. Services
We provide professional interior and exterior cleaning services, including (but not limited to) window cleaning, carpet cleaning, and related maintenance services as agreed in your quote or booking. All services will be carried out with reasonable care, skill, and professionalism.
3. Quotes & Pricing
All quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
Pricing may vary if:
The scope of work changes
Additional time or services are required
Site conditions differ from those initially described
Any additional costs will be communicated where practical before work continues.
4. Bookings & Access
Clients must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time. If access is not available, or the job cannot proceed due to site conditions, a call-out fee or rescheduling fee may apply.
5. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
Provide clear access to work areas
Remove or secure fragile or valuable items near work zones
Ensure water and power access where required
Inform us of any known hazards or special site conditions
We are not responsible for damage caused by unsecured items or pre-existing issues.
6. Health & Safety
We take health and safety seriously and reserve the right to pause or decline work if conditions are unsafe, including (but not limited to) weather hazards, unstable surfaces, or unsafe access.
7. Weather Conditions
Outdoor services may be rescheduled due to unsuitable weather conditions. We will attempt to rebook at the earliest available time.
8. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes. Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee.
9. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing
We may require deposits for larger jobs.
Late or unpaid invoices may incur additional fees and/or recovery costs.
10. Liability
We take care to deliver services safely and to a high standard. However:
We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or structural issues
We are not responsible for damage caused by faulty fixtures, fittings, or surfaces
Liability is limited to the value of the service provided, where permitted by law
11. Satisfaction & Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours so we can review and, where appropriate, rectify the issue.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
